Had a fairly busy June so far with Montreal meet going on the first week, and the Philly Wizard Con Thing going on this past weekend. Its always pretty inspiring to go to any sort of NG gathering so the investment of time and money to attend shit like that is worthwhile. Plus I'm told its good to go outside once in awhile. Comic Con in San Diego is next on the queue.

Between the gap in events I'm going to go into a rathole and get back to working on my projects, on my visit up to the office I had a chance to bring home a boxful of mail from the sketchbook tour and I have to process and scan em and all that... I also have 3 power of 3 games that I need to get back to. Thats the one thing about programmers, you ease the leash and they wander offff. zrb and Unknownfury are good examples. But I'm back now, and I'm gonna put the spurs back on and get their shit back on track.

ALSO, Afro-Ninja mopped it up over at WizCon as the undisputed worlddd heavyweight champion of Smash Bros Brawl Tourney. Egoraptor wasnt too shabby also.

I think thats it, no giveaways or other sideshow anticssss in this post. Heres a photo of a monkey I saw down in the storage room of the NG office.

i dont question his coding ability. I question his commitment to projects, it just drives me crazy to do work and not be able to see it used.
Making a game requires going back and forth. Not me drawing everything and dumping it all assuming itll be perfect. My sprites will be good sometimes and suck other times. I have no way of knowing which unless I play it within the context of the game. Zrb is notorious for disappearing.

I didnt fly out this time since its only 3 hrs away driving. Usually it doesnt take a toll on my sleep the first day but the second day is usually rough. But that could also be because of all the partying onthe first day. So who knows.
