I hope this inspires other artists to try experimenting wtih different styles and approaches both in technical execution but also conceptually. I really like the scratchboard / woodcut feel to it. I think its fitting for the theme of it. The music is breathtaking and I cant wait to see it in the right context with the fog and shit.

Nice work! Maybe you should totally abandon your silly stuff and go for the dark repressed artist look

Great stuff, the puzzles were interesting and the team up instances were refreshing and not overly heavy .. its a nice mix.

I agree with the reviewer before me in that having a speed up or just cut straight to the log scene when you are carrying bees would have been a nice touch, it got monotonous kinda.

Music was a bit loud, i didnt want to cut it off completely though because its fitting of the mood so maybe a volume slider rather than on / off switch would be nice for us lazy folks that are too lazy to just turn the speaker vol. down.

Not too many western related pieces on the site, this was pretty cool. The mixing of your sharp boxy style and the retro aspect of it work really well. I wouldnt have thought they would. The camera direction flows effortlessly from one scene to the next.
My only gripe is in the end where it feels like too many frames are devoted to a fade out. Maybe having the sunset finally turn into night would have been a nice conclusion. Great stuff. Beautiful typography. Particularly at the end with the double exposure on the scrolling text.

"Solid work"

This piece is kind of underrated at a 3.5, i thought the voice acting was well done, the storyline was refreshing take of a classic and the angles were pretty engaging.
My one gripe is probably with the typography choice. the yellow italic letters.
They are just too clunky and cliche IMO, The one you used in the title Hard Boiled was fitting. It would have been good to have a nice clean simple font for stuff like microphone productions presents, and save the font with personality for important text like the title of the movie.
