Ehhhhh....

I wish there was some more novell form of delivering comedy than the usual moody gamer angle that Ego pretty much owns. I'd feel dumb creating a movie that is meant to feel and look exactly like Ego's stuff.

I'm not trying to be a dick about it. I just think that people need to realize that theres many ways of delivering humorous video game observations. Going with the formula that Ego found just seems like a cop out.

Some of the jokes were funny but i just couldnt get over the fact that you wanted to piggy back so that the movie was accepted as good entertainment.

Interesting...

I cant help but be annoyed by the weakest of all the award winning submissions of the day taking daily first..... I guess its cool if you like trendy things and barebones basic tweening.

I enjoyed the commentary... i always wondered why you werent coloring them in but i never bothered to ask.. now it all makes sense.

I think its an awesome project. Maybe I'm biased, but still I think your characters are believable and all have their own personality. You are a great observer and sponge of human mannerisms. Its one thing to be able to animate its another to be a great interpreter of human life and its nuances. I think my favorite character is the cocky kid in the Acme bit. he doesnt really make sense but to him he makes perfect sense in his responses.

The typography is also great. I would hang you by your balls if it wasnt. :)

Fun summer flick

Really loved it. The camera was spot on and the drawings had a nice flair to em. I guess my only gripe was that at the beginning the lip synch was off.. like the mouth movements felt too slow. Wasnt noticeable beyond that so it wasnt really anything that ruined it. Great stuff. favorited

Inspiring

I really love your character designs, the proportions are always really interesting and have alot of flair. Awesome work.

The little nuances that you include are also great, like the little flips and and extra spins that khale has in even the most mundane movements.

I always get goosebumps when artists make something synch with an audio piece. This was lovely. the type at the end for the credits was sweet.

I wish you woulda used as much care for the main menu, it was kinda lacking in visual appeal. Maybe making the buttons turn green on rollover. Newgrounds and resque have an akward spacing to it, i woulda just went ahead and used the same font on newgroundsand lined it up flush right so it doesnt feel so dangerously close to pico's forehead.. or you could move pico to the left more, theres dead space on the left side of his head anyway
