Well I wanted to release this on Dec 31st, but I hit a few snags and bumps so It was a few days late. BUT it is done finally. Im sure I speak for the rest of the people that helped me to say it was REALLY fun dealing with 100+ entries. And by fun i mean laborous.

All in all, I'm glad to be done with the tour in a fairly timely fashion and hope you find 5 mins to go look at what everyones done. I've gotten a few people ask me, why the NG staff wasnt in this particular tour, well i think that it actually shows more of the community spirit when its the community gathering up and giving back to Newgrounds rather than the other way around. So yeah, thats all folks!

Well the real reason, if you must know is that I didnt really invite anyone this year, i just said i was doing it and a horde showed interest.
Which is part of the reason that well knowns like bluebaby and other past participants werent in it. I'm going to tweak things on the next one. Theres always ways to fine tune it.

yeah I am going to be a bit more organized about it this year. I dropped the ball on a couple things and I hope to improve upon that in the next one.

One of the things I have to figure out is an organized, fair way of getting people in. In the past years, I had to go out and find people to participate. This past year, it filled up in a day and a bunch of well known artists got shut-out. And i HATE turning people away or giving preferential treatment. I just have to figure out a better way to screen out people. I think one of the things I may do is require that people have atleast 3 contributions to the portal ... that could be the audio portal, flash portal, (soon the art portal). I really hated seeing entries that had no icons of latest work. Its a buzzkill, you want to know more about this person and you cant, cause they havent done shit.

Oh snap, double post. Well i actually took some of my precious time to look at these comments and realised that there is in fact going to be a 09 tour (yay me)
I really like this sketchbook idea and i was hoping i could be included in the 2009 tour. But the thing is, half of the people on newgrounds don't really know where my country is so that could prove problematic. But anyway let me know if i can be in the tour or not.
