This is pretty awesome, id hate to run into you if there are any garden hoses around. Anyway on a technical note, i like your integration of video and flash. I think you may be on to something there once you clean up your sticks some.

this is lovely

Alot of interesting things going on in here. Love all the little creative cutaways and all around sillyness. Lip synching was pretty sharp, artwork was right on and the writing was quality. I guess my only crit would be that the typography felt a little weak. I woulda rather seen that hand drawn as opposed to the sans-serif. It felt too structured and refined for a movie that screams hand quality.

Some of these were great little skits, fun movie. I do wish some of these gem short skits had some full lush animation to em. If they are that short to begin with, you can probably put in the time to move into color and more elaborate characters. maybe

Really refreshing concept. I think this sort of setup is a good excersize in trusting someone else with your work. Alot of times the artists are in the captains chair and are accustomed to being able to carry a movie/game yet in this setup you have to kinda blow your load ahead of time and see what comes of it (punn)

Anyway i hope you get around to doing it agian, id be interested in getting in on it.

I think the fact that its all voice driven is cool too. I think having music or sound effects not voiced woulda detracted from the importance of the dub.

I'd got an idea for the next Dub Collab .. possibly using the same set of lines (not to be revealed until AFTER the animators animate). Then having the VA's attempt to say the lines (in any order they like) to sync up and tell a story. That could possibly be too limiting, unless there were stipulation for adding a few of your own lines.

Dunno. But if/when it happens, I'll be poking you :)

Promising

The preloader was a bit too gimmicky. Its fine that it eats your mouse the first time, maybe after it does it becomes a regular button? I dunno it was kind of annoying and needlessly so for something so vital as a button that starts your whole movie.

As for the movie itself. I found it to be a fun concept. The reviewer below me should lighten up. Not everything really needs to be explained. I was comfortable with the spoon / kitchen being haunted for no reason.
Anyway my main gripe is that the characters are sticks. I woulda really enjoyed this if the character was an actual character with facial expressions and more memorable appearance.
