not bad

Pretty promising. I think as you work with it more your camera work will be more consistent. Some of the frames / shots were messy. Also maybe not speaking so close to the mic or saving it at a more quality bitrate would help.

Really enjoyed the production value of it. I think i enjoyed Oney and El-Cid's the best and I felt guilty laughing at all of Swains...

I hope the proper funding pulls through for the bit after the end. I took a point off because now i have that stupid pearl jam bit from Jeremy stuck in my head.

Yeah i dunno this is kind of a low blow imo. But i do like the creative approach to it. I just think some of it was kind of tasteless and a direct jab at what was probably private business.

I love how you managed to squeeze in a slew of Krinkel's characters, madness related or not. I think the camera selection could be more exciting at times. Nice work overall, lovely coloring. I particularly like how blades have a warm glow to them.

Pretty entertaining

Pretty interesting take on the Pico and friends franchise, i liked that you concentrated on Nene, maybe im biased because she was always my favorite character. At any rate, i liked that you stuck with the knife obsession of hers, even though she wasnt drawn in the style we've all gotten accustomed to, it did 'feel' like her.

My gripes:

- I think it really needs sound effects. I know you are probably adding them soon but first impressions count, i think it would have made the battles and environment so much more engaging. I was fine with having to read the dialogue rather than having it spoken.

- The slow mo camera effect feels overused. It seemed to find its way into almost every fight scene and after every attack from the giant demon. Felt like overkill and kind of detracted from the excitement and adrenaline you want to build with heavy fight scenes. I think in the future, I'd save that technique until its really worthwhile and use it sparingly. Sometimes a good fight scene is already good as is and doesnt need 'dressing up' through fancy camera work.

Really loved the styling and pacing of this piece. I particularly like how everything is consistent with the underwater motif, like even the end credits. Really well thoughtout execution and entertaining little short. I think its quite underated to only have gotten daily 3rd

This was a fun short and true
