Dang, man thats really cool. Theirs something real romantic about drinking at a bar in the shit. Its a shame i havnt been able to explore the more obscure parts of my own country as much as I would like too. But its really cool seeing some one from outside taking an interest. Helps Remind me of the great sence of national pride i use to have.

Well, I usually travel off season when nobody else does. So weather is sometimes not ideal. Also I have no kids, so traveling for one is cheaper. Depends on where you go also. London will always be expensive.

Nice, seems like indeed an unusual trip. It's nice you've got the social confidence to talk so openly to strangers. I expect for many it's quite a highlight of their day to just get to talk about their lives a bit; not many people in day to day life have the mental bandwidth to take things in and take a genuine interest in what's going on in others' lives. It's a really nice free gift to people.

I think I've only heard the names Newfoundland & Labrador, never really checked the locations, would've pictured them as warmer/more exotic places, summer all year type of places, getting educated here...
Looks awesome. Iceberg beer sounds awesome too. Tried a bottled water here that's supposedly taken from a natural spring where the water's been circulating through the mountains for ten thousand years before you drink it. No micro plastics there, hopefully, probably the same with that beer.
Btw what are your thoughts on traveling now with all this coronavirus stuff going on? Planning to stay home more?
Not particularly, I wasnt planning on going to china or italy or whatever. I think if it gets really bad then i will reconsider, but for now the show must go on!
Maybe some weekend escapes to the remaining safe havens from the plague wouldn't be so bad either. :) Starting to get a bit paranoid on trains though. Seems like it's everywhere.
I try not to think about it too much. I could get killed tomorrow. I can’t walk on eggshells all my life.
Good mindset. To live each day as if tomorrow might be the last one (not today or you sacrifice the next one)! That's my goal. Alas thoughts ain't so easy to control.
