we all need a break sometimes
its ok

Your Rise 'n Grind tweets are one of the few positive things on Twitter. I still have this Steven Starr gift card, gonna have to do that dinner while it's still nice enough to eat outside!

Hmm good idea

luis :)

Do u know beast guy?

Sorry to hear about all that stress. No worries and no pressure from me. I'm grateful to you for and proud of the stuff we've made together.

I think creative juices go in waves, like a heartbeat, and times of reflection, rest, and "taking in the world" are a necessary/crucial part of it all... the "lub" to the "dub."

Give your nose time to heal from being pressed to the grindstone for so long and so hard.

If you need anything, I'm here for ya.

Love you dude!

Take all the time you need pal. Taking the time to engage with us here or on twitter is always a pleasure, so thank you for that!

It sounds like art saved you from depression, but now you giving up & withdrawing. Withdraw is a form of depression & suicide is form of withdraw. To draw is to fight to live & the depression does not want you to live. It wants you join your family that has stopped drawing. Just because the Bolivia government killed your family is no reason for you stop drawing. Now you've taken a long enough break, so get back in the fight & lead the revolution to obliviate the Bolivian government. Wait what?

That’s an interesting way of looking at it.

bro I don't care what or when you post I'm there for it.
...hope my logo request wasn't too annoying.
take care over there in the cheesesteak capital, we'll have a drink soon enough.

No. This was more of a post mordem. I mostly wanted to post for the sake of transparency. I’m def on the upswing. Just not that far yet.

I absolutely relate to the burnout. I used making art as an emotional crutch for so long too, I just wanted to keep pretending I didn't have depression. I kept just telling myself if I stayed productive it'd be okay, but nah man, you gotta take a break every once in a while and retune yourself. Hope you find your peace soon Luis.
