That animation is wild! Do you have any videos of you making animations like that, so that we can see the process?
I’ve thought about it but it’s a rather boring process really. What you see is like the finished version of screaming and adjusting. In a nutshell I watch a bunch of breaking competition and find snippets I think would be fun to animate and I’ll do a rough on 2s and then make some parts on 1s and 3s depending on where motion needs more firepower or less like when the character is recomposing. I think that’s where 2d animation comes to life where you are making decisions on how to sell the idea of motion.
I think the other quirk is that the characters don’t often have normal human proportions so bf gigantic head is both problematic and kind of offers unique opportunities to have fun with it like in that head spin bit.
