Yea I definitely get that fear. For me it's just waves of nostalgia that make me feel emotional. I recently discovered some old maps I made for Red Alert 3 and there's a 'personal message' left in there I'm not sure when would be appropriate to read. I used to think about the future quite a bit as a kid and I still do, but that leads to some very interesting interactions with your past self when you are the future and it's not exactly how you expected it to go down.
