Its pretty good. i kind wish you stuck to the dark brooding aspect that you start with though. it had better mood

All over the place

I think you have too many things going on that arent necessarily working well together. Like your tempo's and stuff are like wildly different yet they bleed together ... i think you probably have tooo many ideas and youre trying to get them all in one song, you should instead explore some of them individually in a piece and see what you can make of them rather than jump around?

StrayDg responds:

Good idea, I tried to explore some of the stuff I had since it did promise to have some good potential. Thank you for that, maybe I should go back and try again.

The next big hit

Tom has a good voice when he cares enough to use it. I could see myself playing this on rock band. Hopefully it becomes a downloadable song.

Evil-Dog responds:

Haha if that is the next big hit, the world is beyond saving

Cool mix of asian and mechanical

I'll admit, the beginning felt sloppy. Like it feels too soon to have so much stuff going on, like you blew your load too soon. Then it starts to pull itself together after that and feel comfortable. Good ending also.

YouriX responds:

Yeah, i see what you mean. Good thing i pull myself togther there huh? ;)
Anyways thanks for the honest review Luis! :D

Good pacing

It kind of reminded me of Bill Brown's work in the Incredible Hulk game. I didnt really care for the last bit where it starts to feel kind of glorious and fulfilling. I kinda liked the panic and dark quality that it has for most of it.

I can see your reasoning for ending it that way, as really walking someone through a process throughout the song, but i kinda woulda prefered to stay in the hopeless under attack mood i guess.

Pretty

I think you accomplished having it feel solemn without being dark. I think the only thing i didnt like was the way it ends. It has such a grand and elaborate beginning. The end seemed more like an afterthought. Even if it was supposed to die out, I kind of feel like it coulda had a bit more juice in it.

popraz responds:

I have been meaning to extend the song somehow, but for now I can't figure out anything that works right. Thank you for reviewing.

Lots of interesting moods in here

The middle/ end bits reminded me of Elfman's tracks for Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands. Good variety here.

blackattackbitch responds:

Wow, thanks! I can't believe it got reviewed by you, and even more, that you liked it!

Clever

One of the better pirate skits, i like the innuendos without the need to having be flat out offensive. Great delivery

Maskedklaus responds:

Thanks!

Im no cat-lover but i love this

this was inspiring, the beat works well and the lyrics are spot on.

Good energy

I liked the energy in this one, its also got enough visual variety to be able to use the song by cutting it up. Its got traces of 'Danger Ahead'

Interesting blurb
