Pretty promising

I really enjoyed the sexual tension that exists between the two shapes... it really builds for a great climax at the end. I think the fact that you went out of your way to channel that relationship between these two men is spectacular. I particularly like that you've managed to simplify the characters and animation to the point where the user can truly isolate him/herself with the pure emotion of the piece as opposed to Adam-Phillipsesque bells and whistles. I think thats pretty damn spectacular and bold.

My only reason i didnt give a 10 is because i felt like a cameo appearance by a triangle or hexagon would have been a nice touch and added an air of mystery and mystique to the piece.

I thought this was a pretty cool little short. the synching was off sometimes, im not sure if that was a technical issue /performance/ or what.

That was my only issue with it really. I really love how to the real world the parakeet is presented in very tame manner and you go into his psyche and its a totally different matter. Anytime i see any parakeet i will forever think that now.

I love that his name was sunshine also to add insult to injury.

Very engaging

I really liked the fact that you animated and made your own music for it.. its always awe-inspiring to see. I liked the subtle touches you incorporated into your animation, it really felt like it connected well with the audio.

Sweet movie

I really liked how it ended, i didnt see it coming at all.
Your take on the characters was fresh and interesting also. I never imagined nene with big tits.

The lip synching was off through most of the movie, that was my only gripe.

I cried a little thinking of how horrible life will be for that bunny and cat. i mean nothing is really resolved in the end. Half of the town still hates them :(

Stylish

Im really liking these entries that paint the red-suit in a different light. Its refreshing. You are influenced for years to perceive these holidays and its symbolism in a particular way and its nice to have a movie that kinda deviates that and flirts with a different side. I like the twist at the end, and the whole overall mood that all the characters in the story are corrupt.

Having the comics as a backdrop for the end was a nice touch.

Promising stuff. Happy Holidays

*Oh my one gripe is that you distorted some of the typeface at the very end... im a font nazi so i couldnt let that go without saying somthinnnnn

Good stuff

I like little shorts like these, it goes out to prove that you dont need like these elaborate fight scenes or plots for a movie to be entertaining. This piece was like 95 percent just two guys talking but yet it felt engaging.
I think the little mannerisms you sprinkle in as they talk is great and you have a great understanding of the subtleties and naturalness (is that a word?) of how people talk. I did find that the animation was off with the synching by about 2-3 frames throughout the movie. I'm not sure if it was just on my end but it was a bit annoying.

Thats about it as far as gripes. I especially liked the end where he tips the waitresses coffee to pour himself a cup of joe. (sorry if thats a spoiler)

That's exactly what I set out to do with this. I'm so intrigued by how people communicate and interact with each other. I'm glad you thought I pulled it off! As for the frame lag, I know. It sucks! It's all because of that driving scene. There's so much going on in the background that it makes the whole movie slow down and get out of sync with the audio. I did one of those automatic quality drops in AS during that scene, but it still totally lagged. Oh well. I have a really nice quality video of it on Vimeo, so whateves. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it man! Thanks a lot.
