funny.

because its true.

You must be indian

I sound nothing like that. But i did like my arm being a giant scribbly mess... and the animal porn. Thats the high graphics and style points.

Refreshing concept

Nice little feel good movie... i like the concept of flipping channels and the nonsense of whats on tv, it all comes together nicely.. wet paaaint wet paaaaint. lovely.

Very professionallllll

you should co-author steven spielburg if you can.. other than that i thought it was great and very creative.. its been awhile since i laughed at at my computer screen. Nice job.

pretty awesome

Really like the aggresive camera movements. Nice typography, my only criticism with it is that it looks kind of odd in the credits at the very beginning of the movie ... i think hand drawing it like you did in the end credits would have felt more integrated.

Really like the different techniques in storytelling you used, it keeps it exciting like the audio.

Very cool concept, cool sync, awesome shit.

You draw so good!

amazing artwork, its very lifelike. do you use brush or pencil???/

Anyway i like experimental flicks so imma give this a high score.
Nice job DB.

stylish

Really dig that music at the beginning its very stylish and remiscent of the bellagio..

I think that in your next movie you should try and work with less, like try and get by without filters, really push yourself. Filters are still too processor heavy to be used extensively as tempting as they may be. Also I think in some instances using razor sharp graphics would be better anyway.. like the gun falling part, a razor sharp gun with its reflection gleaming as it passes the screen would have been more effective than a vertical blur i think.

Also something to look out for is the subtleties in your work, its all about the little touches that make your work really top notch and well thought out. like maybe a stray shoelace fbf when hes tidying his boot. nothing too laborous just some 'it' factor to really feel fancier in execution than it is in reality.. like for instance in my nene movies ive made the face and head as a graphic but the hair is always on a back layer and all fbf ... that way even when i recycle the face it still has a touch of individuality.. would be cool to see something like that on pico, some of his movements were right fully tweened but you should sprinkle in a little pixie fbf dust to give it that edge that your stuff is top tier.

Nice work, i like the mood you set up for it, your music was appropriate and your environments are really well done.

happy birthday :)

Masonogy1 responds:

Yeah, Flash 8 was tempting for the filter use, but I optimised it enough to run smooth on most computers, but I do agree sharp graphics would work well in parts, but filters were so much of a god send because they saved me time DRAMATICALLY!

Yeah I checked out on e of your tutorials on youtube a while ago and I really like that frame by frame pointer! I am still gettying used to fbf because its so tedious, but I think recycling would save alot of time!

Thanks for the review buddy, now to complete your game! :)
