Stamper with a fake rubber penis sticking out of his pants at Pico Day at the NG office.

Rated M pico day

to this day theres always something special about finding out that some game i played or some video ive seen have origins on NG. Somethin about seeing the roots across the internet, and remembering old ass flash games I played on other sites, or old toons Ive seen on youtube, seeing that they come from Newgrounds feels like this weird thing that even though I didnt even have an NG account until 2015, the community and it's influence already affected me years before. Feels like a full circle or whatever

When i was a kid i visited a lot pages like Y8 and Newgrounds, i played some flash games with some friends that i haven’t seen in seven years, and then like 3-4 years ago i was thinking about all of that, and i decided to take a look at ir again. And i found i could watch some good adult cartoons that make my pp hard. So i reencounter my childhood memories because i was horny

I saw two listings in the Collaborate section from two people for whom i'd soon work with. I was apart of a couple discord servers and soon started making cartoons for real, and through that I've made some of my closest friends. Ive since then traveled around the country and met the majority of these people, and all because of Newgrounds. Because of Newgrounds, i've learned more then I ever have, and despite its ups and downs I feel like I truly thrive and belong here.

I first join back in 2015 cause i heard about this from sleepycast, and i didnt do much but i went the forums and made a post asking for people to skype with cause animating is lonely and boring lol and thats where i met henry. i still cant believe its only been 4 years but without this place i wouldnt of met any of you guys . the community on this site is amazing, newgrounds gets shit for thinking its some pedo ring or racist undeground fight club but its the opposite ive never met more talented people and just kind and caring people anywhere, long live newgrounds!!!

I made a pico day cartoon in 2014 and won 5th place! Which is funny because there wasn't even a 5th place, Tom just expanded the placings. Got 50 bucks out of that.

I remember those days when met @exotworking and @molkman .I was joined Newgrounds coz of cool indie games. After that I found that here was cool cartons, yeah.

I remember seeing and hearing about Castle Crashers when I was in elementary school. After checking out the art and game play I found it to be incredibly interesting and wanted to check out the people who made this game. After a quick google search for the creator I ended up on Newgrounds. (I didn't create my account until 2020 however I played a ton of games like Dad n Me, and toss the turtle)

My favorite NG memory is that one time Luis drank a beer

That one time. I know u lying

my fav newgrounds memory is NGAlphas , i used to be so hyped about the new upcoming submissions, and i remember playing franks adventure when i was 11 or so

Nice. I loved the design for that site. Very stamper

For me personally, there are two eras of NG. There's the NG I knew from high school about a decade ago and there's NG from this and last year.

One of my favorite memories, which is also one of the most prominent and positive of the few I have from both eras, is discovering and playing the game Level Up!

I'm still waiting for a true sequel to that game. Alas, it has not arrived. One day it will come... maybe. :(

Oh, and there's also the fact that my music writing was still in its infancy and not a regular thing for me back then, so when I look back at my old submissions under my old account it was an interesting time capsule to look back on.

I remember making a thread on the forums that got 8 pages. That was hot shit back then.

I remember getting my first front page with cartoon about a cat. That was the best day of my life, hands down.

I remember staying up till 6 am on a school night to watch my first flash animation get through the portal. Those were magical times in all honesty.

I have way too many good memories of this place. This competition is too easy.

I remember meeting Luis. Thanks for meeting me Luis. <3 ok goodnight

Discovering that people were making their own cartoons, their own games, and pushing whatever boundaries they wanted. I first popped in at about nine years old, and I've never wanted to leave.

Each step of the way, this website has been a home for me. I honestly don't know who I'd be, today, if I'd never signed up. Probably a rocket scientist.

Kinda a general meta memory, but I have a memory burned into my brain. When I was 11, being really excited and talking to my grandpa from across the country on the phone about how I wanted to make games and cartoons because of Newgrounds. How I wanted to save up and buy flash and whatnot. I don't think I would have gotten into creative stuff without Newgrounds and that specific interaction. I saved for years to pay for flash after that, although, I bought a computer instead to make stuff on and not flash in the end.

Picoday has always come around the same time we have a bonfire tradition here in Sweden (30th april), always connected the 2 having a great day watching Pico cartoons (including some of yours Luis which I watch every picoday) before heading out watching the fire and shooting fireworks with my friends. I also won one of the last 100$ for monthly random user 2015, I spent most of it on merc from the castlecrasher store. Also Christmas 2015 I won Lakeview cabin collection from death inks Krampus slot machine. :D I remember once I visited NG during school and some classmates saw it and instantly thought I was watching porn. (ok that last one was maybe less positive)

everyone always looks at Newgrounds as...”Edgelord land” but I say to them they’re wrong.

To me I’ve always considered Newgrounds as a getaway place, Or a second home from all the crazy stuff that went on in real life, Newgrounds was always there to make life better. Everyday there’s always something Brand new on Newgrounds, wether it’s Art, Animations, and Music. The content never ends!

Just recently, I joined my very first collab after all these years. I’ve always wanted to join a Newgrounds collab upon discovering them and it finally happened! I hope to join More!

Newgrounds forever!!!

I honestly believe it was my almost computer-illiterate mom, who found the Numa-Numa dance, through MSN news or something... hotmail news? Maybe it was Yahoo. I don't know. 2003 right? They apparently linked directly to it on NG and me and my brother were hooked from that day.
We must have binged almost every series and videogame category.
If we knew about NG before that day, I don't have any memory of it. But then, my memory's crap.
Still got my own set of stickers 'n NG shirt. I don't want any of the merch. Plus I can't safely afford to be a supporter irght now as I have no income.. lol.
Just figured I'd share the good memories anyway!
