[Artificial High]

nice mixing pot of artists

Pro:Like the constant animation.. really works well for the video and the transitions are seemless into the next artists work.
The randomness is what makes this work well I liked that alot.

Cons: The 3d effects in the beginning were totally unnecessary and proabably my only gripe with the film. Im positive they added a good 15 seconds extra of loading time and for what?
Nowhere in the movie are 3d effects used, i just found it an unecessary accessory. I think making handrawn credits would have not only saved loading time but also would have further matched the style of the movie.
Another I would think about is maybe have the name up on the upper left disappear after a little while.. got kind of distracting after awhile..

Overall good job. keep it up.

Definately a worthy entry, glad you decided to publish it on your own anyway.. Looks great, and I actually found the wierdness quite refreshing. Great Job!

the violent side of the NG TT challenge

I must admit i was a little skeptical about how this last group would do.. but wow i gotta give it you guys.. great job.
Sickdeathfiend- amazing illustration work
LiveCorpse- your wit works perfectly with your illustrations
Tommy- i loved the harsh cutscenes and storytelling
Eric- its almost scary how productive you were in two hours. good job and nice backdrop.

It was tricky to pull off, but I have to admit I got lucky with being able to put together a great group in such short notice. The three days we had to work on the movie was also used to get the artists involved, edit, file transfer, and submit. Phew -.-;
It was great fun, I'm glad I could be a part of your Time Trials and I hope we added to the overall series.

[NG Time Trial Challenge B]

two great extremes

I really liked both works, this is the first time I am seeing it. Both very different in every sense of the word and thats really all this ng time trial thing is about. Variety and creativity and stuff.. good job both of u.

Pinnicle- I like your sense of humor, your characters really benefit greatly from the voice acting u provide. The crude style and handling really has evolved and turned into a calling card.
keep it up.

Alanthebox- great stuff as usual, love your line work. great idea, its so refreshing to see someone take the non humor approach. gj

[Xombie: Chapter 3]

tweening at its finest

I do like this chapter better than the previous one. Much more variety and flair. You have a great understanding of how to really get the most out of the tweening. Your color palette/drawings are very clean and crisp. Your storyboarding is also great, your schooling and study of animation really shows through. Good Job, I'm gonna have to keep my eye on you! Again good job, I think i may have to add this to my favorites.

[Dont Give Up.]

refreshing

well i've always been a fan of using flash beyond pottie humor so of course i enjoyed this.
I think you're getting there flash wise, the music and the slow pacing was appropriate, i dont even miss heavy duty frame by frame animation because the film didnt really need it.
I think you could have handled the part where he is looking into the stuff he missed more effectively.. maybe arranged it so that its like a 4 square grid,and as each memory comes up it fades into its slot.. i think it would feel more integrated and make more visual sense that these color tinted scenes are part of this part of your story.
Another thing you could consider is the ending, i think its shock factor that you are after so you could really hammer that concept home by a very akward perspective on the final scene. maybe a very zoomed in view of the persons dialated pupils pulsating.. and then they stop.. the screen tints slightly red and the letters superimposed on top of that.. then the viewer has to read the text yet he's still confronted by this now dead body and it makes it more uncomfortable than just a plain red backdrop.

great concepts

Great job guys, that was a great idea to do the coop. i loved the grunge one, never seen somethin like that before. Anyways props to all of you for a great job.. tough soundtrack you chose and you pulled it off well.

[The Fulps - Tribute]

pretty good

At first I wasnt that sure if this would work out with so many people on a project, but it was pretty well done, the lip synching by whomever was pretty sharp. the demon drawing was great also...
i dont know if i can offer points to improve on because this toon works well in the fact that its so crudely put together/drawn, but maybe you could integrate your different styles a little better.. maybe introduce some of tim's artwork early on so it doesnt feel so foreign at the end. all in all good job, i enjoyed it.

So this is the famous Kol, i've been living under a rock and I finally got around to seeing your movie, great stuff. The macabre scenarios/objects and the equally foreign music really evoke wierd feelings that i cant quite put my finger on.. anyways whatever your smokin i want some..
on the technical side, the sound quality could have been bumped up i really dont think people would have minded the extra wait time your work is definately worth it. graphically.. your style is awesome and what not nothing but praise there. keep it up .. not sure how to say that in your language but pretend i do.

This is probably the one series i follow religiously.. your bold humor and fearless stabs at current events is very refreshing. And its about time someone started taking jabs at homestar. You get a full 5 for this one. Great job Sam.
